TWI Industrial Members are invited to secure places at this year’s TWI Core Research Programme (CRP) Annual Symposium.
The event, which is taking place on 26 September 2024 at our headquarters near Cambridge, UK, will give you an exclusive and unique opportunity to find out about the core research currently being undertaken by TWI for the benefit of our Members across industry.
The day will include technical presentations, panel discussions, an overview of the TWI Technology Roadmap, and plenty of opportunity to connect with our experts as well as fellow Industrial Members.
As well as finding out how CRP projects are helping industry and hearing about the latest developments and activities in materials, manufacturing and non-destructive testing, the event will feature a poster exhibition by PhD students from the National Structural Integrity Research Centre (NSIRC), who will be available to talk about the projects they are working on.
The day will open with a welcome from TWI’s Interim Chief Executive Officer, David Wrathmall, before Simon Webster, Chair of TWI Research Board, gives an introduction to the core research programme. Other notable speakers include TWI Director of Research, Paul Woollin, and Paul Howdle, Head of Engineering Capability for Rolls Royce SMR, who will deliver a keynote speech about the impact of innovative research and the value it creates for industry and beyond.
This exclusive event for TWI Industrial Member companies will also offer laboratory tours and ‘Meet the Expert’ sessions with our technical specialists, closing with drinks and dinner for all attendees at the TWI restaurant.
