Last Call: Register for the TWI CRP Annual Symposium 2024

Mon, 02 September, 2024

TWI Industrial Members are invited to attend the TWI Core Research Programme (CRP) Annual Symposium 2024, on Thursday, 26 September 08.30-19.30 GMT at our headquarters in Cambridge, UK.

About the CRP

Our Core Research Programme (CRP) was created to meet the needs of our Industrial Members by addressing the most significant challenges they face in relation to specific technology areas and/or industry sectors that have been identified as being of critical interest to future operations.

The CRP is funded by part of your annual Industrial Membership fees, allowing us to maximise the outcomes for all Members by building on our existing knowledge and expertise while harnessing innovative thinking and approaches to develop new skills, products and services, systems and processes, leading to reduced costs, and improved quality, safety and reliability.

About the CRP Annual Symposium

The TWI CRP Annual Symposium provides Industrial Members with an opportunity to hear about the projects currently being undertaken as part of the Core Research Programme, including details of how CRP projects are benefiting industry and the latest developments and activities in the areas of materials, manufacturing and non-destructive testing.

This exclusive, flagship event not only provides information on the value being provided by the CRP, but also gives you the chance to help drive the direction of our research for your benefit as an Industrial Member of TWI.

Along with presentations and keynote speeches, there will be opportunities to connect with TWI experts and fellow Industrial Members at interactive panel and networking sessions. Our experts will be available during the day to discuss any challenges faced by your organisation and how TWI can help. You will also be able to take a tour of our laboratories.

In addition there will be a poster exhibition by PhD students from the National Structural Integrity Research Centre (NSIRC), who will be available to talk about the projects they are working on.

The day will close with welcome drinks, toasts and dinner for all of our attendees from 17:00.

Industrial Members can find out more, see the full programme for the day, and register for this unique and exclusive event, here.
