TWI’s Dr Raja Khan is due to present at the upcoming PM HIP Workshop taking place 9-10 October, 2024, in Knoxville, Tennessee, USA.
The event is taking place at the Manufacturing Demonstration Facility at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, with Dr Khan delivering a speech on the topic of ‘PM HIP Technology and Manufacturing of Industrial Parts’ during the Economics and Supply Chain; PM-HIP Standards session.
Dr Khan, who is also part of the steering committee, will speak on day two of the event (10 October) between 11:45am and 12:45pm (US time).
The Workshop has been organised to accelerate the development and adoption of hot isostatic pressing (HIP) technology for the fabrication of large-scale components across various industrial sectors including nuclear, renewable energy, oil and gas, aerospace, and national security applications.
