Exploratory Programme projects

The Exploratory Programme welcomes new project intakes multiple times throughout the year. The aim of exploratory projects is to create opportunities that provide returns for TWI and support its Global Technology Plan. Therefore, they will typically focus on areas such as generating commercially exploitable, follow-on, single client projects (SCPs), concept validation, prototype development, market analysis, and intellectual property (IP) development, protection, valuation and exploitation.

Exploratory Programme projects address initial product or process development, targeted to a specific customer or customer segment, and are geared towards driving innovation and value creation through IP generation. By leveraging the expertise and resources of TWI, the projects aim to bring new technologies to market, and contribute to the advancement of cutting-edge solutions that meet the need of our Industrial Members.
