We are pleased to announce that Abbas Mohimi has been appointed the Global Technical Solutions (GTS) Global Manager for TWI.
Global Technical Solutions (GTS)
The Global Technical Solutions team extends TWI’s mission to provide authoritative and impartial expert advice, knowhow and safety assurance through engineering and joining technologies to regions outside the UK.
Delivering engineering consultancy and technical support to areas including South and East Asia, India, North and South America and The Middle East, GTS applies knowledge and experience to provide cost-effective solutions for clients across the oil, gas, process and power generation sectors, including maintaining the integrity and extending the useful life of ageing assets.
Drawing on over 50 years of research and industry experience in whole life integrity management, fracture mechanics, joining and welding, and process safety, our principal engineers and consultants work closely with national regulators, multinational oil and gas operators, national oil companies, contractors and manufacturers of oil and gas production equipment, production and utility systems to maintain facility integrity, reduce loss of process containment and extend the reliability and useful life of producing assets.
Abbas will oversee the delivery of this core area of work internationally to meet the needs of our clients.
