Transforming Construction Industry Productivity – Training through Artificial Intelligence (AI) Powered Virtual Reality
TWI Innovation Network is pleased to invite you to attend this upcoming webinar focused on SafeXtend – an exciting, current collaborative project that is addressing ongoing issues in the construction industry related to skills shortages, the rising cost of training and ensuring the safety of site personnel – with the development of a new, artificial intelligence (AI)-powered, virtual reality (VR) training platform.
During the webinar your speakers, from the SafeXtend consortium, will explain the background to the project and the solution it delivers – together with insights on how AI, 3D modelling, computer vision, natural language processing, VR and other technologies are being applied within the platform – and the expected benefits to construction industry employers and their workforces from using SafeXtend.
Agenda
Presentations include:
- An Introduction to Virtual Reality (VR) – Dr Edgar Segovia, Energy Consultant, V-LAB
- Developing Safer Construction Sites through Artificial Intelligence (AI) and VR Innovations – Dr Abiodun Ayodeji, Research Fellow, Brunel University of London
- Boosting Efficiency with AI-Powered VR: Real-World Impact – Paul Bass, Founder, Tricore Technical Services Ltd
