Validation Testing Laboratory

This laboratory is a state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility supporting all non-destructive testing (NDT), evaluation and validation using advanced ultrasonic, digital radiography and electromagnetic methods. Uses include the development of representative samples supporting the validation of NDT techniques and the development of techniques and procedures supporting the assessment of integrity of components for research, development and production.

The laboratory provides agile and reactive services for industry, supporting the validation of non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques for the assessment of integrity of components for R&D and production and delivery of laboratory and site-based NDT.
