We are pleased to announce that TWI has been certified as a verified supplier by the Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS).
The RISQS certification confirms that TWI is verified for both ‘Non-Destructive Testing Service’ (RICCL Code A.A.3N) and ‘Non-Destructive Testing (Rail Vehicles) Service’ (RICCL Code E.J.7N). We have also been qualified by audit for ‘Ultrasonic Testing Service’ (RICCL Code C.C.3.2.24N) and ‘Ultrasonic Testing (Non-Train-Borne) Service’ (RICCL Code C.C.3.4.5.6N).
Supplier verification helps ensure the quality of supplied goods and services to the rail industry, helping prevent defects and ensure long-term reliability.
In addition, the verification helps make sure that companies adhere to the strict regulations and safety standards that are set for the rail industry and enforced by government authorities. As well as covering legal compliance, RISQS outline safety protocols and procedures, risk management, quality assurance, an effective communication between various stakeholders involved in railway projects, including employees, contractors, regulatory agencies, and the public.
