TWI Expert to Present at Space Propulsion 2024

TWI Thermal Processing Technologies Project Engineer, Alex Russell is due to present at Space Propulsion 2024 in Glasgow on 22 May 2024.

Alex’s presentation will take place at 10am on the day on the topic of, ‘Development of a Compact Lightweight Micro-Channel Heat Exchanger (MCHX) for Reusable Launch Systems.’

The work behind the presentation was undertaken by TWI alongside project partner, Confluent Research, and has been funded by the European Space Agency with the overall aim of enabling reusable launching system engines for space flight and exploration.

Space Propulsion 2024, which is taking place from 20-23 May 2024, will be the ninth in a series of international conferences related to the application and development of space propulsion technologies.

Bringing together hundreds of professionals from around the world, including engineers and scientists from across academia, industry and government, the Space Propulsion Conference provides a forum for networking and the exchange of knowledge and ideas to support the preparation of future activities and roadmaps in all fields of space propulsion.
