TWI Expert Presenting at Scottish Manufacturing Event

Chris Wiseman, Sector Growth Manager, Smart Transport and Digital Manufacture is due to present at the upcoming, Scotland Manufacturing and Supply Chain Conference and Exhibition.

The event is taking place at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC), Glasgow, on 25 October, 2023, where Chris will deliver a talk on, ‘Joining and Surfacing Technologies for Lightweight Materials.’

Drawing upon his experience and expertise in the field, Chris will investigate advanced manufacturing processes that are enabling the increased use of lightweight materials in the transport sectors.

With a focus on aerospace and automotive uses, the talk will tie in with international concerns over global warming and the need to reach a Net Zero state of emissions. In addition, Chris will provide insights into technology transfer within manufacturing supply chains.
