TWI’s Research for Impact: R4I 2022 Conference (7-8 April 2022)
This in-person conference and exhibition will take place in Cambridge, UK, on 7-8 April 2022.
This flagship event, focused on UK and European project collaboration, will showcase a selection of successfully completed projects from both the now-concluded Horizon 2020 programme and Innovate UK, highlighting some of the new technologies that have reached market readiness. These research and development (R&D) projects were the result of consortium collaborations and you will have the opportunity to meet participants and experts.

The Conference will also cover some of the R&D opportunities coming up via the new Horizon Europe programme, and provide an in-person experience for meeting up with new and existing contacts, with a view to forming future collaborative relationships.
There will also be a segment of the Conference dedicated to alternative ways of raising funding from venture capitalists and accelerators for technology-based projects with commercial potential.
Simultaneously, an exhibition will run alongside the Conference for delegates to visit, according to their interests, enabling you to come together to network and explore new ideas.
Day 1 – April 7, Thursday
Day 1 will focus on the exhibition of model projects that have the potential to go to market, including project results that have already received much interest from end users with a global reach. There will be talks about these projects and some insights from the Council and Research Board of TWI, the TWI Innovation Network, VCs and the SMEs.
We will also introduce you to our colleagues from the technology innovation management (TIM) team and our public funding champions from our technology groups who you can engage with and explore the potential of your innovation aspirations for funding with public funding bodies in the UK and the EC.
