Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

TWI has an ongoing commitment to, and awareness of, our corporate social responsibilities (CSR) at each of our centres in the UK and overseas. Relevant company documentation include the Ethics and Equality Policies, Health, Safety and Environmental Policy, and TWI’s accordance with BS ISO 26000:2010, including:

• Corporate (organisational) governance
• Human rights
• Labour and fair employment practices
• Health, safety and environmental best practice
• Fair operating practices
• Consumer issues
• Community involvement and development

Some of our activities include organising a successful Oil and Gas Industry Panel Meeting held at ADNOC Refining Research Centre in Umm Al Nar, Abu Dhabi wherein we presented the technical developments at TWI to address the challenge of sustainability to meet demands minimising environmental impact and the use of resources; outreach community program delivering Basic First Aid awareness at the Management of the Government Deaf and Defective Hearing School in Attock, Punjab, Pakistan - imparting invaluable knowledge of preserving life at times of emergency; and Cancer Run 2024 in Abu Dhabi, UAE - supporting community iniatiative in raising awareness to prevent and combat the disease.
