Elevating Professional Development
In 2024, TWI Middle East enhanced its training portfolio by introducing certification programmes for conventional NDT methods, complimented by an FAQ series to support our candidates’ professional growth. This initiative reaffirmed TWI's commitment to empowering professionals in the region with accessible, high-quality training opportunities that meet industry demands.

Fostering Community and Cultural Engagement
Our dedication to community well-being and cultural inclusivity shone brightly through several key initiatives in 2024:
- Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi Cancer Run: As part of our corporate social responsibility, TWI MENA actively participated in this annual event held in February on Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi. Organised in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the event raised awareness about cancer prevention and healthy lifestyle choices while uniting communities for a meaningful cause.
- International Women’s Day | International Women in Engineering Day: TWI celebrated women’s achievements and contributions, emphasising our commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion.
- International Diversity Day: A special breakfast event in June brought employees together, celebrating our team's rich cultural heritage and reinforcing the importance of an inclusive workplace.
- Diwali Celebration: In November, we embraced the festival of lights with a vibrant celebration highlighting TWI's appreciation for cultural diversity and its role in fostering unity.
These events reflect TWI's core values of inclusivity, collaboration, and cultural appreciation, ensuring that every team member feels valued and respected.
Driving Industry Innovation and Knowledge Sharing
TWI Gulf continued to lead in industry advancements and knowledge dissemination through impactful events:
- Robotic Inspection Webinar: Held in April 2024, this event explored the transformative benefits of robotic inspection technologies in the energy sector. Featuring experts from TWI, SPRINT Robotics, and Chevron, it provided participants with valuable insights into cutting-edge innovations.
- Asset Integrity Conference: As a Research Partner, TWI contributed to the success of the 2nd Asset Integrity and Process Safety Conference and Exhibition that took place last April in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. Our participation underscored TWI’s role as a thought leader in asset integrity management and its commitment to driving best practices in the industry.
