Dr. Abbas Mohimi, the TWI Membership, Innovation & Global Operations - Business Development Group Manager presented the article, “Machine Learning for Upstream Piping System Corrosion Prediction Advancement”, at ADIPEC. The article, which was authored by Mehran Izadkhah, dives deep into the development and implementation of an independent ML approach by TWI – specifically designed to predict the corrosion rate of piping systems in upstream facilities.

TWI's presence at ADIPEC also offered an opportunity to discuss training and development strategies, emphasising the importance of a highly skilled workforce in adapting to technological advancements that offer clear career and professional growth.

During the exhibition, Mr Emilio Biraghi was awarded a free one-year AweldI Professional Membership, giving him access to the advantages and benefits of becoming a TWI Professional Member of The Welding Institute, a leading engineering institution supporting welding and joining professionals with welding, joining and allied technologies.
