Project Outline

This project aims at functionalizing the surface of PEEK for biomedical application. To understand the laser -material interactions, different lasers will be used to a robust analysis. Surface characterization of resulting surface will be performed to investigate the influence of laser processing. Mechanical properties will also be studied because of the intended application.
