Fully Funded by The Apprenticeship Levy

The SLA is a Level 7 programme designed by employers for working professionals. This fully-funded programme aligns with industry standards set by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE). To participate, applicants need to be employed by an organisation that supports their development through the programme.

Benefits of DMU apprenticeships for you and your employer:

The programme is funded through the levy system, with apprentices allocated Funding Band 12 (£14,000). This allows both employees and employers to benefit from this unique opportunity to upgrade leadership skills and development.

The eligibility of the apprenticeship levy funding is based on the organisation’s size:

  • Larger organisations that contribute to the Apprenticeship Levy can recoup 100% for all qualifying apprentices.
  • Small businesses can also access significant benefits from the apprenticeship programme, covering 95% cost through levy funding, by contributing only 5%.

Advance Your Career with Industry-Relevant Credentials and an Option to Attain an MBA

Once you have successfully completed the programme, you will receive; a Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration awarded by DMU, and a Level 7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship, along with the opportunity to gain Chartered Manager status (CMgr MCMI) through the End Point Assessment module.

There is also the opportunity, once the course has been completed and passed, to top up to an MBA (at a cost).

Here is What an Apprentice Says About Their Experience:

Ujjwal Bharadwaj, Section Manager, Technology Innovation Management (TIM) at TWI shared his experience and said "I'm delighted to be part of this course. This course beautifully mirrors innovation at an individual level… the knowledge and skills I am gaining will enable me to deal with complex situations in the future."
