Who should attend?
Whether you have prior experience in welding or not, anyone with interest in learning plastic welding can join this training. Welding engineers and engineering apprentices as well as maintenance staff who carry out installation and repair work of plastic pipes can benefit from the plastic welding training course as well.

Currently this course is available at our training centres in the UK (Middlesbrough or Cambridge) as well as Kuala Lumpur.

What are the objectives of this training?
By the end of this training, candidates should be able to:
- Understand and carry out practical plastic welding in all three techniques of (butt fusion, electrofusion and socket fusion)
- Identify plastics materials
- Implement procedure control and safe operation
- Understand weld properties
- Identify faults/defects and how to avoid them
What are the entry requirements?
There are no mandatory pre-requisits for this course and registration is open to all levels of experiences.

Visual Plastic Welding Inspector: CSWIP 3.0P Pipes course is the natural progression route for candidates completing the plastic welder training course.
