TWI SEA Participates in the Mechanical Open Day 2025 at UTHM

TWI is delighted to announce its successful participation in the Mechanical Open Day 2025, held at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) on 14 January 2025. This annual event brought together students, professionals, and industry leaders to explore the dynamic world of mechanical engineering, offering a platform for learning, networking, and showcasing cutting-edge innovations.

TWI’s participation was highlighted by an engaging session led by Mr. Khairul Anuar Bin Hj Yaakub, who delivered an insightful talk on “The Critical Aspects of Welding and TWI’s Role in Advancing the Field.” The talk covered everything from the fundamentals of welding techniques to groundbreaking advancements in welding technology. Attendees were captivated by the depth of knowledge shared, leaving the session inspired and better informed about the potential of welding in shaping the future of engineering.

In addition to the informative talk, TWI proudly showcased its state-of-the-art Augmented Reality (AR) machine, allowing attendees to experience welding technology in a unique and interactive way. Participants enthusiastically tried out the AR system, gaining hands-on exposure to futuristic engineering applications and experiencing the innovative tools that are revolutionizing the industry.
