TWI Malaysia Celebrates International Women’s Day 2025

TWI Malaysia proudly celebrated International Women’s Day on 7 March 2025, honouring the achievements, resilience, and contributions of women in the workplace and beyond. This special occasion brought together employees for an inspiring and heartfelt event filled with appreciation, recognition, and unity.

The event commenced with a keynote address from Leonie Stewart, Director of Finance and Legal, who highlighted the significance of International Women’s Day. She spoke about the history of the movement, its impact on gender equality, and the ongoing efforts needed to empower women in various industries. Her speech served as a reminder of the progress made and the challenges that remain in achieving true inclusivity.

Following this, Weng Kai Lee, Country Manager (Malaysia) and Regional Manager (East Asia), expressed his appreciation for the incredible dedication and strength of the women at TWI Malaysia. He acknowledged their invaluable contributions in shaping the company’s success and emphasized the importance of fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace culture.

The celebration continued with appreciation speeches from male colleagues, who took the opportunity to recognize the efforts of their female counterparts. They shared personal experiences and stories, highlighting how women have positively influenced their professional and personal lives.

Likewise, female colleagues shared their acknowledgment speeches, expressing gratitude for the support and encouragement they have received in their careers. Their words reflected the spirit of teamwork, perseverance, and mutual respect that define TWI Malaysia’s workplace.

To conclude the celebration, cupcakes and flowers were distributed to all female employees as a small token of appreciation for their hard work, resilience, and contributions.
