TWI Thailand proudly announces the successful conduction of Outstation Classes in partnership with Thai Nippon Steel Engineering & Construction Corporation Ltd. (TNS) for the CSWIP 3.0 Visual Welding Inspector course, held on 10 June and 17 June 2024. These classes are a key component of the South East Asia Skill Enhancement Programme (SEASEP) and East Economy Corridor (EEC) match funding, aimed at enhancing the skills and safety standards of the workforce in eastern parts of Thailand.
SEASEP, which includes the IOSH Working Safely Course, is designed to achieve several crucial objectives:
- Developing a safety-skilled workforce that is more accessible to industry.
- Promoting safer working practices to reduce accidents and injuries at work.
- Improving the safety and integrity of critical infrastructure, thus reducing failure rates.
- Enhancing job prospects and career progression for disadvantaged and under-represented groups.
This training initiative is conducted in partnership with Thai Nippon Steel Engineering & Construction Corporation Ltd. (TNS). The partnership was formalized with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 6th November 2023, highlighting a shared commitment to advancing SEASEP objectives.
The classes were held at TNS in Chachoengsao, with funding support from the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC). The EEC is a significant development initiative aimed at transforming designated provinces, including Rayong, Chonburi (home to TWI Thailand), and Chachoengsao, into a leading economic zone within ASEAN.
The Outstation Classes for CSWIP 3.0 Visual Welding Inspector mark a significant step towards achieving SEASEP's goals. By providing industry-recognized training and promoting safer working environments, TWI Thailand and TNS are contributing to the region's economic development and the upliftment of under-represented communities.
These efforts are particularly important as they address the critical need for skilled labor in the growing industries of the region. The training provided not only equips workers with valuable qualifications but also instills a culture of safety that benefits both employees and employers.

การฝึกอบรมนี้จัดขึ้นร่วมกับ Thai Nippon Steel Engineering & Construction Corporation Ltd. (TNS) ความร่วมมือดังกล่าวได้รับการลงนามในบันทึกความเข้าใจ (MoU) เมื่อวันที่ 6 พฤศจิกายน 2023 เน้นย้ำความมุ่งมั่นร่วมกันในการส่งเสริมเป้าหมายของ SEASEP
