The "29th International Caspian Oil & Gas" Exhibition was held on June 4-6, 2024 at the Baku Expo Center as a part of "Baku Energy Week" with the participation of TWI Azerbaijan.
The International Caspian Oil & Gas Exhibition Incorporating Refining and Petrochemicals is the largest event in the oil industry in the Caspian region and brings together the leading experts and major players in the region’s oil industry.
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the 29th International Caspian Oil & Gas Exhibition - Caspian Oil & Gas and the 12th Caspian International Power and Green Energy Exhibition - Caspian Power as part of the Baku Energy Week at the Baku Expo Center.
About 300 companies from 37 countries of the world came to Baku Energy Week, which is held every year in Baku and is considered the most important event in the energy field of the region. In addition to Azerbaijan, USA, Germany, Australia, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Bulgaria, Great Britain, Czech Republic, China, Algeria, Finland, France, Georgia, India, Iraq, Israel, Sweden, Italy, Latvia participated in the event. , Kazakhstan, Qatar, Hungary, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Uzbekistan, Romania, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine and Japan are represented. Among these countries, companies from Sweden, India and Slovenia are participating in the event for the first time.
Speakers at the event included Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkiye Alparslan Bayraktar who read out President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s letter, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the United Arab Emirates Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary at the Bureau of Energy Resources of the U.S. Department of State Harry Kamian who read out US President Joseph Biden’s letter, Director of Energy Policy at European Commission Cristina Lobillo Borrero, Secretary General of OPEC Haitham Al Ghais, Director-General of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) Francesco La Camera.
Exhibition sections are covered such as reservoir engineering, geophysics and geology, construction and exploitation oil and gas wells, platforms and floating rigs, designing, manufacturing and servicing the equipment for oil and gas industry, pipe-laying and providing protection systems for pipelines, refining and petrochemicals, hydrocarbons transportation, building and construction works for the energy sector, providing oil and gas storage systems, producing specialist techniques, general operational and maintenance back-up and spare parts and many others, including financial and legal services, chemical industry branches, raw materials for the chemical industry, chemical production etc.
