We are delighted to announce that the EMPHASING project has been shortlisted in the Composites UK Trade Association Industry Awards 2024.
The project has been shortlisted in both the ‘Innovation in Composites Manufacture’ category and the ‘Sustainability: Circularity’ category for the creation of ‘glassene’ - reclaimed and resized glass fibre with a low carbon price point, high performance and a low LCA.
We would like to thank all of the partners; Longworth, Gen2plank Limited, EMS-CHEMIE (UK) LTD, Ford Technologies Limited, Gestamp, the Brunel Composites Centre (Brunel University London) and TWI (Advanced Composites and Adhesives section) for their work in reaching this achievement.
